The sad fact is, most of us only think of the long-term
relationships we have with our customers only after we lose them.
How would your perspective change if you saw every prospect,
every new customer, as well as all your current customers in terms
of years,,, or even decades, rather than the next sales call?
Now we're talking relationships...
Every relationship has to start somewhere. Maybe this is the
first you've heard of me. Maybe we've met somplace
before. Either way, like a first date, you probably came here
with high hopes... or even just a spark of hope that this is "the
one" - someone who can help you with your current situation. If
you're not ready for a "date" yet... that's okay. Really.
You don't know me.
For starters, let me introduce myself. I'm Andy Havens. For lack
of a better term, think of me as a "Business Relationship Coach". So
what do I do actually?
I help businesses build stronger relationships
with prospects and clients.
As someone who likes to cut to the chase, my wife might tell you
I write love letters for business clients. Well, that's partly true.
Look at it this way...
Would you declare your everlasting love to someone you just met?
I didn't think so. And like the dating coach might lasso
the guy who wants to propose on the second date - I take a
longer, more objective perspective on business relationships so I
can help clients with a more studied approach than they might
otherwise attempt. But that's not all...
I also act as a counsellor and sounding board for clients with
their current customer base. As you are well aware, it's usually a
lot more cost-effective to retain customers than it is to replace
them. Thus part of my focus helps you strenthen current
relationships.
Who do I work with?
While I have yet to turn down work because a company is "too
big", I prefer to work with small to mid-sized businesses. To me,
smaller companies are closer to their customer base and often more
responsive. So the more "in-tune" your company feels with your
clients, the more effective my methods are likely to be.
Am I "THE ONE" for you?
Let's be honest with each other... I don't know and neither do
you. We both need to get to know each other a bit before either of
us can decide if we want to pursue our own relationship. So how do
