My name is Haven Snively and I am a graduate from the University of South Carolina, where I received my B.A. in Mass Communications and M.M.C of Mass Communications with a focus on Strategic Communications Management.

I am originally from Mount Airy, Maryland, a small community about 45 minutes west of Baltimore. Coming from a small town pushed me to pursue city life while in Columbia, South Carolina, and has driven me to make my voice heard in larger cities in the future. I chose UofSC because I assumed the combination of city and small-town life, while combining a large university setting and an incredible journalism program, would allow for the ultimate opportunity for success in my four years there. I was not disappointed. UofSC has provided me with an abundance of opportunities inside and outside of the classroom that have shaped me into a powerful communicator and confident leader, and I simply could not bear to leave after just four years, pursuing my Masters to add an additional year. I finally wrapped on my time in South Carolina in July of 2022 to move to Nashville, Tennessee.

I am a social media professional knowledgeable of creative marketing and content development strategies. With past success in building audiences, extending branding, and launching initiatives using multi-platform approaches, I aim to bring fresh and interesting content with creativity and adaptable voice based on target audiences and platforms. I am a confident communicator with a passion for helping businesses small and large in reaching their marketing and client goals. I aim to always work effectively and contribute my best work to every facet of a companies communication strategy.

I am a proven communicator with an excellent record of academic and professional achievement with 5+ years of combined experience in B2B and B2C marketing and communications. Known as a purpose-driven team player with an energetic presence, I have a relentless commitment to making a difference in any business or organization. A fast learner and an efficient communicator, I hope to develop new skills in any position and am always ecstatic to gain knowledge through any opportunity that comes my way.

From my entrance into UofSC in August of 2017 to graduating early in December of 2020 through my Masters degree in 2022, I have stuck to my love for communications, my passion for writing, and my overt joy at being assigned extensive readings. In November of 2022, I began my career with Inkitt, an online publishing company with a goal of becoming the Disney of the 21st century. In the role, I served as a paid media Creative Strategist and a Social Media Manager, leading teams to hit upwards of 10M views and 100K gross revenue monthly.
